Your Situation

You need to pass the IBEW GAN Aptitude Test to be an Electrician Apprentice.

Do I tutor for the IBEW GAN Aptitude Test?

Yes. I have helped men and women pass the GAN Aptitude Test to become IBEW apprentices.

My students have passed the GAN test in Chicago, Los Angeles, Commerce, Boston, Detroit, Maryland - Virgina area, Minneapolis, St. Paul, South Bend IN, and other Locals.

The test is created by a company called GAN Human Resources.

I will show you how to understand the following GAN test topics:

Numerical Computation - solve problems with fractions and decimals.

Numerical Reasoning - find the pattern in a series of numbers.

Paper Folding - determine the hole pattern for paper folded and holes punched.

Mechanical Reasoning - determine the movement of pulleys, gears, weights, and more.

Reading Comprehension - identify the main idea and answer questions based on the stories.

My students tell me they did well because the type of questions they saw on the test were the same type we did during tutoring.

Matt was a great help in preparing me for my GAN IBEW aptitude test. He was great at going piece by piece and walking through any problems that I needed help with in clear and easy to understand ways. Matt made sure to take note of anything I needed extra work with and also circled back to subjects I struggled with more. He also did his own research into where I was taking the test and how the test would be constructed in order to get as much as we could from our sessions. Matt was all the help I could have asked for and I appreciate it very much.

I can’t recommend Matt enough! Preparing for the GAN Aptitude Apprentice Test felt overwhelming since I hadn’t done math since high school, but meeting with him on Mondays and Fridays made a huge difference. He helped me tremendously with both the math sections and mechanical comprehension, breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand. His patience, clear explanations, and encouragement reassured me that I would do amazing. Thanks to his guidance, I felt much more confident and prepared going into the test. If you’re looking for a tutor who truly cares and knows how to teach, he’s the one!

When I was looking for a tutor to help me brush up on my IBEW GAN math and reading skills test, I found Matthew to be very helpful. He did a good job refreshing my knowledge, while also sharing some useful tips to remember when testing. And I found he matched his tutoring style to what I needed, rather than using a "1 glove fits all hands" approach which I really liked. If you are in the market looking for tutoring for the IBEW/GAN attitude test, I would encourage asking Matthew for help.

I've been blessed and fortunate to have a tutor like Matt. I'm very confident to say that I'm certain that I passed the test thanks to Matt.

My experience with math is difficult, but after studying and having Matt show me easy loopholes around the problems I've had the best of luck getting the correct answers. I owe all the credit to Matt. Without him I'm pretty certain I would've come unprepared and stuck, but I'm glad it was the opposite.

During the GAN aptitude test I was in a seemingly flow state, it's like I knew every answer after 10 seconds, and I was the 1st person to get in the building, and also the 1st person to leave the building. In conclusion, Matt is the best tutor I've had hands down. His method for working a problem is unmatched, and will undoubtedly help whoever along the way that assigns with him. Matt is the Man.

Very helpful tutor, Matt explained concepts well and was easy to learn from. He would go back to review topics I had trouble with and made sure I understood. Would definitely recommend him to others for the GAN test.

Matt’s been a huge help with my prep for the GAN aptitude test. He’s helped me get a solid grasp on fractions, numerical reasoning, comprehension, interpretation, and logical reasoning. He explains things clearly and is super patient, which has really boosted my confidence. I feel much more prepared now, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone needing support in these areas.
